Ottobike -Dirt bike
Ottobike a Taiwan based company; in the 2019 EICMA Milan motorcycle show has showcased its new fully electric dirtbike Ottobike MXR. MXR stands for Maxi Extreme Rider. In 2020 this fully electric dirt bike for sale is available. It comes powered by an 11 kW continuous rated mid-drive motor that has a liquid cooling system along with an electric speed controller.
Styling
The styling and build quality of other Otto Bike models like the MCR is carried over to the MXR. From the futuristic headlight to the fit and finish of the plastics, the design of the electric motorcycle stands out from the rest of the field.
The dirtbike looks rugged and aggressive. Instead of a proper headlamp, it gets three vertically positioned LED bars. While an LCD dashboard is there, which displays a wide range of information. Ottobike has used Android OS for the display to show the riders GPS directions, live maps, and incoming calls, among other features, as claimed by the report.
Battery
The houses a non-removable battery that has a capacity of nearly 5 kWh and a 1.2 kW battery charger as well. Ottobike claims the bike’s battery takes 2.25 hours for a 20-80 percent charge. While to get fully charged it requires around 4 hours of time.
When it is fully charged the bike runs up to 150 km (40km/ph). The top speed of the bike is 120km/h. the dirtbike comes with four riding modes they are – Eco mode, comfort mode, sport mode, and turbo mode. The Curb weight of the bike is 100kg
The strong bike comes with a Standard motorcycle warranty of 2 years or 15000km and Power pack warranty of 1 year or 1,000 charging cycles
The company is unsure on availability of dirt bike for sale in USA.
