IIT Delhi runs a driverless electric vehicle
Stepping to smart India, IIT Delhi runs a driverless electric vehicle in campus- IIT Delhi runs EVs within the campus for green mobility and promoting the vision of government’s clean and green mobility in India.

The institute wanted to replace the EVs with driverless Electric Vehicle for their convenience since the last year and now they are successful to do it.the Institute is soon going to run a driverless electric vehicle within the campus. The institute intends to run this between two points initially. IIT is looking at a time frame of six months to get the EV up and running.
On this, Director, IIT Delhi said, “This is a project that would showcase the autonomous EV technology and simultaneously save the cost of the driver,”
Soon after developing the driverless EV, the IIT is looking at deploying this technology for multiple applications. This would be a great move towards the EVs and digital India.
